destruqtor is a companding distortion/saturation/exciter plugin. Unlike traditional distortion, destruqtor applies expanding compression before the waveshaper and an opposite compression after the effect, which preserves and emphasises transients and adds more warmth to your sounds without sacrificing dynamic range.
destruqtor
overview
Even & Odd
Control even and odd harmonics individually. From classic softclipping and warm tube-like saturations to complete destruction of the signalLow & High Cutoff
Choose what frequencies to apply distortion to while bypassing other frequencies, useful for subtle saturation effects without completely destroying the low endDynamic Range
destruqtor is a companding distortion, meaning it preverses dynamic range, unlike what traditional distortion/clipping doesAntialiased
destruqtor has a built-in 8x oversampling and in addition to that it uses ADAA algorithm, reducing aliasing distortion and achieving more harmonic soundGain Compensation
destruqtor has a LUFS based dynamic gain compensation mechanism that adjusts the gain based on the source materialMinimal UI
Cute and easy to navigate interface. Dark & light modes. Freely resizable :3ui overview

Volume Meter
- Shows RMS and peak levels of input (outer ring) and output (inner ring)
Even/Odd
- The main XY pad, controls the amount of even (X axis) and odd (Y axis) harmonics to add
- Supports 2D scrolling, holding

while scrolling switches the axes ALT + Click
resets it back to zero
Low & High Cutoff
- Controls which frequencies are fed into the distortion, audio content outside that range is passed through unaffected

- Drag this to make the interface however large or small you want
Dark/Light Mode
- Switch between a dark mode or a light mode if you like it :3

for finer control - Set to auto mode by default, which engages the autogain mechanism.
